To Organize A Movement It Takes 3 Things

2. Communication platform that each member of your company/school can access

Call To Action

Individuals that work at a company and students that attend a school communicate and work closely together up to 7 days-a-week. We become intimately aware of what is going on in each other’s lives. We get to learn a lot about and from, inspire and love one another. This presents opportunities to spotlight the good of individuals, participate in and encourage volunteering, and helping people in need within our company/school.  We feel we have a responsibility to each other and that we will all be better if we work together to Lift Up the members of the company or school.  The CALL TO ACTION is for companies and schools (or employees at a company or students at a school) to create a non-exclusive internal communication portal/hub to share the following…

1. Create your mission/creed (feel free to use ours) and share it.
2. Spotlight individuals/co-workers/peers/teachers/students/etc… that lift people up and encourage all to follow their lead.
3. Identify members of your company/school in need and then appropriately coordinate and execute how they can be lifted up.
4. Participate in and communicate volunteer service opportunities for members of your company/school.
5. Invite and inspire all members of the company/school to get involved.
6. Use #liftupyourcommunity in your communications to spread the word.

Encourage all members of your company/school to nominate individuals to spotlight, people in need to help, and opportunities to volunteer.  Gaining the participation of many members of your company/school is critical to the success of each movement.  Encourage all company/school members to get involved by linking themselves to your portal/hub and share the content as it becomes available so individuals can be made aware and inspired to get involved.

We believe all companies and schools can and will benefit. As you work together to share in these principles lives will be blessed, productivity will rise, culture will strengthen, lives will be changed, goals/objectives will be achieved and everyone will be Lifted Up.

And remember… you control how much time you want to commit.  Be creative.  If you feel it’s better for you to select one of the 3 principles (spotlighting, volunteering, helping those in need) we encourage you to do so.
